Saving water is one of the top environmental challenges, so when SES Water came to us to help get the message across to kids, we knew the same old approach wouldn’t wash.

Inspired by Julia Donaldson’s famous children’s hero, Stick Man, Drop was born – a cute droplet of a character who could guide the young audience through how water is used and how it can be saved.

The story was created in a similar rhyming style to Stick Man and then illustrated to produce a storybook, which was sent out to SES’s younger customers across Surrey, Kent and south London.

Drop was then brought to life as the book was turned into a short animated film, with the story read by Louise Redknapp.
