Dogs Trust achieved record-breaking engagement with their internal Your Say survey, but needed a plan for how to effectively and creatively communicate the outcomes and actions with their teams, leaders and stakeholders.
With comprehensive brand guidelines already in place, while also having the desire to see something a little bit new and fresh, we were tasked with exploring the art of the possible.
We began by working with the Dogs Trust comms and OD teams to review the Your Say survey results, identifying key insights to turn into digestible themes and content.
Combining qualitative and quantitative data, our approach aimed to provide a concise yet comprehensive overview of the Your Say survey outcomes. We proposed flexible and shareable resources such as infographics, a PowerPoint slide template for the CEO’s upcoming presentation and a dynamic animation to showcase the survey outcomes.
Recognising (and absolutely loving) the brand’s playful spirit, we drafted a script for the animation infused with puns, snappy stats and short summaries, along with inspiring insights into where the organisation has excelled and where they’re aspiring to improve.
The creative concepts we developed integrated the Dogs Trust branding with additional fun, fresh, and bespoke people and dog illustrations – bringing to life their staff, volunteers and of course their furry friends. We went through various rounds of development to ensure the dog behavioural team were happy with the depictions of the dogs (how they moved and how their leads were held, for example), with all rules and regulations meticulously adhered to throughout.
All deliverables, including the infographics and a brand new toolkit to help manager’s have open conversations about the survey outcomes with their teams, were provided as templates to maximise value for money and flexibility for Dogs Trust.
While maintaining the core brand, we crafted visually engaging bank of illustrations, ensuring the campaign had a standout presence in Dogs Trust’s internal communications.
“The team at Alive took a rather dry set of stats and brought them to life in an engaging, warm, and fun manner using a variety of media formats. The images they created for us have gone beyond this piece of work and are now being used across a variety of our people communications.”
