Challenging times, world catastrophes and shifting priorities have shone a light on Internal Communication and shown just how crucial it is. But it appears there is still some ground to cover when it comes to the perception of the value we bring and the scope of the work we do.
“Do you sort out the biscuits in the staff room?”
“So you fix laptops then?”
“Is that even a real job?”
These comments are real life examples, exposed by a conversation initiated on LinkedIn by Rob Jones from Artful Dog.

The long-suffering IC community were triggered – big time. The resulting LinkedIn thread brought tears to our eyes; a saline mix of laughter and despair.
We added our own ‘internal comms’ with some clap-backs that we would never dare to say out loud…
