We love supporting NHS Trusts. From external recruitment campaigns to internal values and behaviours workshops, from website design to employee brand, we’ve been fortunate enough to work on a wide range of projects for different NHS services up and down the country.
So last year when we were tagged in a tweet by our friend Leanne Hughes, saying NHS diabetes specialist Neely Mozawala wanted to help bring better food provision to NHS staff nationally, we jumped straight in.
Neely Mozawala and her supporters, including Dr Saliha Mahmood Ahmed, were on a mission to make the 24/7 provision of hot, affordable and nutritious food a reality for NHS staff.
Following the Report of the Independent Review of NHS Hospital Food undertaken by Philip Shelley and Prue Leith and the BMA Fatigue and Facilities Charter, this was an extremely important and hot topic.
It was time to put an end to NHS staff who had worked all through the night, only to find there’s nothing but snacks in a vending machine to fuel them.
Neely had made amazing progress through her own social channels, urging people to sign the petition, contacting NHS Trusts directly and rallying for more support.
The mission needed an identity, a simple name to hook the cause on, a website to drive people to and assets people could easily share on socials. That’s where we came in!
We branded the campaign No Hungry Staff and created a website to house all the information people needed about the mission, how to join the fight and resources to help raise awareness.
From plate smashing gifs to twitter banners and posters, we created a suite of assets to help being the campaign to life.
After just one year of consistent determination and hard work from Neeley and her supporters, the No Hungry Staff campaign achieved its mission – 24/7 food is now being provided to NHS staff nationally!
